When you view this composition, you'll see that every element has been carefully considered and placed with intention. Nothing is included by accident or without purpose. Then look closer and you'll see beautiful hints the layers and layers of color below the surface: turquoise, yellow, orange,soft blues - all delightful surprises to the eye, achieved by sanding back into the layers.
You won't see mcuh evidence of brush strokes - an intentional style that Isabelle is known for. The smooth as glass surface is achieved by working on a wood substrate, sanding, and sanding and sanding as Isabelle works. She wants you to notice depth of color and clarity of shapes (a process that wouldn't stand up to working on canvas.
Overall, and as always, the feeling of rejuvination should make sense when you read Isabelle's tagline "Think.Joy." Engaging your brain and your emotions, joyfulness is the overall sensation that Isabelle hopes to communicate.
